Erika Howsare article features the Common Grain Alliance non-profit in CVille Weekly

I'm so glad Heather Coiner @littlehatcreekfarm called last year to see if I would be interested in becoming a founding member of the Common Grain Alliance.  What a great group of people she's assembled!  I love the group's energy and commitment to strengthening the local grain economy.  Rather than try to describe it, here's a link to an excellent article written by Erika Howsare in this week's CVille Weekly that explains the mission and the opportunity nicely:

It was wonderful meeting Erika and her family.  The picture above is of her two charming young daughters finding hidden treasures like wild peas in a small test planting of Turkey Red winter wheat.  How fitting one of the discoveries was a bunch of turkey feathers!
