Why no wheat?

Hi Folks, 

We appreciate all the interest in our organically grown wheat.  Sadly, we suffered substantial crop losses over Mother's Day weekend when temps dropped into the 20's for two consecutive nights.  This severe cold in mid-May came at a time when our wheat crop was most susceptible to frost damage.  This fall we're going to delay our wheat planting until November which will delay the pollination date until later in May and hopefully avoid this issue next spring.
